I am not very good at this game. I like to think I'm a little above average at Gran Turismo 6 (I can do decent with just limited TCS and ABS, everything else off) and I'm still getting used to Fourza (just got it), but F1 is a different beast.

Yeah right now the controller is super sensitive with steering, I've messed around with the steering but I've gotten kinda used to it (long turns can't be done smoothly), it might actually be faster, idk. I've haven't played racing games on a console in a long time so idk if it feels better on those.

Also, get those assists off! With ABS, you just gotta lift off before going into the turns, and in no time you'll be braking into turns and stuff. TCS is for pansies.

ABS feels pretty useless in GT6. I'm not sure I can really tell the difference other than that the car might drag to one side a bit under hard braking. I'm actually pretty impressed with Fourza because the ABS feels like real ABS. I can feel the pulse and can tell I'm not stopping quite as quick as I'd like to. My thing is I feel like the AI has magic brakes and has perfect braking every time. Wouldn't shock me in Fourza because the AI in that game acts like I'm not even there.

As for TCS, I blame not having a steady enough trigger finger to not try to blast out of every corner. If I had a wheel and pedal setup I think I'd be more comfortable with it off, but on a controller I like to have at least a little bit of TCS (GT6 has different levels of TCS, the Forza games are just on or off).

Yeah, I think wheels and pedals are a lot better for fine control, and it takes a lot of practice to get used to using a controller for fine control (like without assists and stuff).

With steering coming out of corners, (I think ps3/4 controllers are square, so idk if thisll help for GT6) but instead of moving the stick slightly left or right, I go up then go around the edge and down. (It might work on PS controllers, actually).

I actually started doing that recently without realizing it. You can fine tune your steering input better that way rather than fighting the dead zone to the sides.
